Ettelā'āt-e Bānuvān (Persian: اطلاعات بانوان) or Banovan was the first women's magazine published in Tehran. The magazine was first published by Ettelaat in 1957.[1] It covered news on celebrities, royal families, health, beauty and other topics related to women.[1] The magazine was closed in 1979, but was reopened in 1981.[1]
