Farnworth Grammar School

Farnworth Grammar School was founded in 1715 at Farnworth, Lancashire.[1] Alan Ball, Jr. was an ex pupil.[2] Kenneth Wolstenholme who commentated on the 1966 World Cup Final in which Ball played was also an ex pupil. It closed in 1982.[3]
