Farrukhan was the third Dabuyid ispahbadh of Tabaristan, and one of the most successive rulers of the Dabuyid dynasty.

During his reign he briefly expanded his rule to Khorasan as far as Nishapur[1] and seems to have been granted the title “Espahbad of Khorasan” by Yazdegerd III in the confused state of affairs during the Arab conquest of Persia. In 651-652 he offered the defeated Yazdegerd his country, but the latter refused and fled farther east, where he got killed.
