Description
Deutsch: Bahnhof Meiringen vor dem Umbau 2009/10. Die Gleise im Vordergrund, die vor allem zum Umsetzen der Triebfahrzeuge benötigt wurden, wurden mit der Drehscheibe entfernt, die Stammgleise 1 und 2 der Brünigbahn damit zu Stumpfgleisen. Die Gleisabschlüsse liegen jetzt auf Höhe des bisherigen Reisendenüberganges, links daneben entstand am Gleis 13 ein neuer Bahnsteig für die Züge der MIB mit kurzen Umsteigewegen.
English: Meiringen railway station looking west, prior to remodelling. All the tracks in the foreground of this shot have since been lifted, with the site of the locomotive now occupied by a concourse across the ends of tracks 1 and 2, which have thus been turned into west-facing stub terminal platform tracks. Compare this with this view from roughly the same position after the remodelling.
