Description1978 AMC Matador Station Wagon 3-row in Golden Ginger at 2024 AMO 1of8.jpg
English: 1978 AMC Matador four-door station wagon. All Matadors came with a long list of standard equipment and features. The station wagons offered two- or three-row seats for six or eight passengers. The third row is rear-facing, and all wagons included a two-way tailgate - opening with the rear window retracted as a door hinged on the left side or down on the bottom hinges to extend the load floor. All wagons came with AMC's 360 cu in (5.9 L) V8 engine. This three-row Matador wagon is finished Golden Ginger metallic with a matching interior and has AMC's "slot-styled" road wheels. The 1978 model year was the final production of the Matador line.
These pictures were taken during the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention in June 2024, organized by the Potomac Ramblers Club. Most events were held at the Keystone Truck and Tractor Museum in Petersburg, Virginia.
