Excerpt from the Accompanying Article: "'Exhibits' 20 Years and One Month at Baby Show": "Celebrating the twenty-first anniversary of the Kapiolani Maternity Home, a reception to all babies born in the institution was held on January 6. The affair was a huge success and particularly interesting because of the fact that the 'exhibits' numbering over one hundred, ranged in age from twenty-one years to one months and were of various nationalities. Some proud mothers brought one wee babe in arms and others brought as many as five and regretted that their other children could not get off from work to come too. One tiny miss of two years came chaperoned by her brother, aged five. This vivacious pair contributed in a large measure to the success of the afternoon."
