Ali Irsan is convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death. Cameras are forbidden in the Polunsky Unit (where he is incarcerated) and he is unlikely to ever be a free man. His surviving relatives and friends are likely unable or unwilling to contribute a free photograph.

Other information The subject of the photograph has been under correctional supervision since May 22, 2014 (initially under the U.S. Marshalls Service and then with the Harris County Sheriff's Office), and in TDCJ custody since August 20, 2018.
