Description
Deutsch: Der von Friedrich Eisenlohr entworfene und 1843 eröffnete Bahnhof an der Kriegstraße. Die Aufnahme zeigt nicht mehr den ursprünglichen Zustand des Bahnhofs, wie ihn Eisenlohr ursprünglich entworfen hatte: Zur Straßenseite hin war der Bahnhof vergrößert worden wie auch in der Aufnahme gut durch die hellere Farbe der zur Erweiterung verwendeten Steine erkennbar ist. Dadurch sind auch die ursprünglich im Mittelteil befindlichen Arkaden nicht mehr sichtbar. Der gesamte Nordteil des Bahnhofs zur Straße bildete nach der Erweiterung eine geschlossene Baufront.
