Deutsch: Munitionsbestände wurden durch Ausschmelzung (Ausdüsen) unschädlich gemacht. Beim Ausschmelzen von Granaten in der Zerlegungswerkstätte wurden von diesen zunächst die Zünder entfernt und gesprengt, dann erhitzte man in großen Wasserkesseln die Granaten mit der Öffnung nach unten, bis der Sprengstoff Pigrin vollständig herausgelöst war. Das Gemisch aus Wasser und Pigrin leitete man durch Rohrleitungen in tiefe Erdgruben, welche anschließend zugeschüttet wurden; an die Folgen dieses gedankenlosen Vergrabens von hochgiftiger Sprengmasse dachte damals noch keiner. Die leeren Hüllen der Granaten wurden auf dem Wasser- und Schienenweg abtransportiert und zum Einschmelzen verkauft.
