Српски / srpski: "BANOVINA" - BANSKA PALATA I BANSKA VEĆNICA, DANAS ZGRADE IZVRŠNOG VEĆA VOJVODINE I SKUPŠTINE VOJVODINE. Impozantno javno zdanje, čiju jedinstvenu kompoziciju čine dve odvojene zgrade, podignute prema projektima arhitekte Dragiše Brašovana u razdoblju od 1935. do 1940. godine na praznom prostoru od 28 000 m ² "Malog Limana", nekadašnjeg Bulevara Kraljice Marije, danas Bulevar Mihajla Pupina 16. Naime, Novi Sad je, objavom Kralja Aleksandra I Karađorđevića (Ujedinitelja), od 3. oktobra 1929. godine, postao prestoni grad jedne od devet jugoslovenskih Banovina. Bila je to Dunavska Banovina, po ekonomskoj moći, perspektivi razvoja i poziciji u državi, uopšte, uz Savsku i Dravsku Banovinu, najrazvijenije područje (28.160 km ² i 2,3 miliona stanovnika).
