English: One of the original 1939 plantings of Florida Torreya at the Biltmore Estate near Asheville, NC. Photo March 2004 by Connie Barlow. Autumn 2004 two hurricanes destroyed the White Pine canopy and some of the original torreyas. A basal sprout alongside.
