News Hello WikiProject North Carolina members! A few of us at the The Newsroom Team decided to get together and re-energize the project, through these newsletters. This newsletter is hopefully the first of many to come. We want this project to be active in creating and expanding articles related to our state. I got down to Campaigns in Harvey Milk#Campaigns with my copyediting. I also answered Moni3's questions that I had printed out for you. - Dan Dank55 (send/receive) 04:45, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Archiving
John, I've added an archive box ... feel free to keep the image, or pick any image from this page at Commons or this one. - Dank (push to talk) 15:10, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for your recent edits to the above article! Since creating that article in December, I've tried to constantly improve its content, but I'm a terrible copy editor, especially for my own material (I see the forest and forget that it's made of trees with that stuff). Any help you can lend is appreciated. Since I see youre in WP:MILHIST, I'd like to invite you to comment on my current A-class review at Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Assessment/Fort Dobbs (North Carolina). My goal is to go for FAC if I can get it past A-class intact. Also, I see that you, like me, are an NC attorney -- it's nice to meet a fellow member of the bar on here. Happy New Year! - Happy New Year to you, too. Thanks for doing the Fort Dobbs piece. The French and Indian War is an underappreciated part of American history, and I had no idea about the NC connection.Johnboddie (talk) 15:12, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
