Pałac zbudowano w latach 1904-1905 dla Stanisława Graeve, którego ojciec baron Aleksander Graeve, ziemianin i finansista, a także poseł do sejmu pruskiego, nabył ten majątek w roku 1882. Po śmierci Stanisława majątek należy do senatora II Rzeczypospolitej Artura Dobieckiego i jest on ostatnim właścicelem majątku do II wojny światowej. Po wojnie utworzono w nim latach 40-tych dom opieki społecznej, który funkcjonuje do tej pory.
