The merits of St.Marc, La Creole and Java Mocha cof-fees were successfully shown. On al-ternate evenings the coffee was given-away in the form of ice cream soda,which, by the way, makes a very re-freshing drink, and besides this, the dif-ferent lines were sampled by the publicto their hearts content. Montreal Grocery Clerks Food Show—Molsons Ale, Porter, Etc. 30 Molsons Lines.First you tasted Molsons India paleale, and if you had not previously beenacquainted with the Molson taste youwould wonder at there being anythingso pleasing and refreshing in the drinkline. The booth was built in the form of apyramid of bottles and the decorativeeffect was supplied by the various linesput up by this firm, capped by severallarge shields, representing facsimiles oftheir handsome labels. The booth wassituated in the northeastern part ofthe rink and showed first-class taste inconstruction. This firm have a verylarge trade, their porter, India pale ale,etc., being noted for its excellent qual-ity. Ekers Brewery. Though not attempting to make any-thing in the shape of an exhibit at thefood fair, Ekers Brewery, manufactur-ers of the well-known brand of pale alewhich bears that name, also the re-nowned Bohemian lager, did some goodadvertising for their products at theexhibition.
