Description	English: Carte de visite of Dr Charles Johnston MRCS (12 March 1812 – 16 July 1872). The verso (back of the photo) has written in handwriting the words 'Mother's Uncle Dr Charles Johnston'. The front and back of the photo has printed the location of the photographers 'Britton & Sons' as located in Barnstaple. Charles Johnston lived in Barnstaple, England from the early 1860s.[1]
