Description This is the second naval ensign of the Republic of Texas. It was used from 1838 to 1846. NOTE: According to http://www.texasnavy.com/A%20History%20of%20the%20Texas%20Navy%20Flag.pdf , this is actually the "ceremonial flag of the Texas Navy Association", created after 1958.
