English: This is an oil painting on canvas by Washington Bogart Cooper of Charles Todd Quintard, second Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee. He was also a chaplain of the First Tennessee Infantry Regiment during the United States Civil War. This portrait was painted during his time as the first Vice Chancellor of the University of the South (Sewanee) from 1867 to 1872. The image is in the public domain because it is a faithful reproduction of a portrait painted by Cooper, who died in 1888.
