aspecto de salir huyendo, ya que sin plumas no puede alzar el vuelo, y se limita a una torpe huída. Se trata, sin duda, del águila napoleónica, a la que todavía asesta un golpe con su rastrillo un segador español, que se adelanta del grupo que sonríe de la situación apurada del buitre carnívoro, cuyos secuaces parecen huir al fondo derecha en confuso pelotón. Goya ha acertado plenamente en la torpe carrera del ave, que agita los restos de sus alas como si quisiera asegurar la fuga.
