Summary

Description Sepia photograph of Fred Sullivan, from the Guy Little Collection. 9.2cm x 5.7cm. Written on back: 'From / Meyer Lutz Collection / Fred Sullivan / (brother of Sir Arthur / Sullivan), / Sarony / Scarboroug'. The Victoria and Albert Museum dates this as late 19th century, but as Sarony set up shop in Scarborough in 1857, and Fred Sullivan died in 1877, we can limit that more, and, given Fred Sullivan didn't start acting until 1870, it's likely after then. It looks similar to photographs of him in Trial by Jury (1875).

As Adam lives in Britain, which makes it incredibly easy to acquire copyright in his works, he grants, if needed, an irrevokable license to use this work however you see fit. He requests attribution where possible, and realises that "where possible" means that that request is not legally enforcable. Adam Cuerden (talk) 15:44, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
