English: Up fast freight passing Gobowen Station. View NW, towards Ruabon, Wrexham and Chester; ex-GWR Birmingham - Shrewsbury - Chester main line. The Class C freight is headed by 4-6-0 No. 5910 'Park Hall' (built 6/31, withdrawn 9/62). Park Hall, a major Army Depot, happens to be a mile or so from this station, with a Halt to serve it on the former branch to Oswestry. |
