English: Up electrically-hauled train of new motor-cars on WCML at Hartford Junction.
View NW, towards Weaver Junction and Liverpool, Preston, Carlisle etc. by the WCML. The line had been electrified Crewe - Liverpool since June 1962 and this train, one of those recently dedicated to the transport of new motor-cars of 1965 in bulk from the Plants at Halewood, is headed by Type A Metropolitan-Vickers Bo-Bo 3,300 hp electric locomotive No. E3052.
