Igraine holds the voluntary role of "Her Majesty's Keeper of Castle Ravens, Knaresborough". The ravens are kept tethered when they are out and about. Until recently, they were allowed to roam freely but a rather mischievous bird developed a propensity for landing on people's heads. The powers-that-be in Knaresborough town council were not amused!
