Thank you very much indeed for kindly adding your images to Bramhope Tunnel. It adds another perspective and contributes to our understanding of the portal. It also contributes to the understanding of English Heritage, who just used a photo instead of an onsite survey to list the building. Their listing description says there is "probably" a turret on the left but they can't see it behind the vegetation.
To clarify the August 2009 message above - to my understanding the general principle is that you don't put external links in an article page's main text, as it's often difficult to differentiate between spam and useful links, especially where bots are used to remove spam. However, appropriate external links are welcomed in the "External Links" section at the bottom. If there is no external links section, make one. When I created the Bramhope Tunnel page I included a link to your Flickr site in the external links section because it contained photos that could not be obtained anywhere else.
It's the unfortunate style of Wikipedia that when you first join and start contributing, your talk page gets filled up with tellings-off because, although you have good intentions, you are new and are making beginner errors. It's the same for all of us. Sadly, this puts off a lot of useful contributors. But if you learn from it and keep going, after a while the stream of reprimands dries up and you start getting thank-yous. If you don't agree with or understand a tag or telling-off, it's well worth putting a polite message on the sender's talkpage, and you will almost always get a friendly reply and helpful advice. Here's something I didn't find out for ages: in general, you can remove almost any tag from an article once you have put the problem right. The main exception to this is the speedy deletion tag - but that one says in so many words that you can't remove it - though it does tell you how you can appeal.

- Cheers TJ. Actually I'd been thinking of starting an article on Brunswick Tunnel. The pictures are missing from that link now however there are some here so there are two references to link to as evidence. But at the moment I'm held up with another job. I'm no expert on trains and tunnels so if you feel like starting the page, let me know and I could weigh in and do just those bits of tidying which prevent new pages from being tagged and deleted. Don't know if you've started new articles yet - but the main tactic to avoid deletion is to have an intro that says "Brunswick Tunnel is a so-and-so and it is notable for so-and-so". We don't have pictures for the article, but we could get a photo of that plaque in Harrogate near Trinity church, and of the island in the road in Harrogate where the tunnel-end is underneath.
