Offered for auction at Artcurial, Paris, May 22, 2017, lot passed; according to Artcurial lot description, this image was rreproduced in Galerie Contemporaine, Littéraire et Artistique, Paris, 1877. A more finished version of this painting is in the New Orleans Museum of Art.
