Summary

Description

The courtroom in the Town Hall, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Designed by Cuthbert Brodrick, built 1853-1858. The courtroom retains the original wooden seating. The room is almost as it was when built, apart from lighting, heating, and wall-paint. It is no longer used for legal cases, but has been kept for historical value and other purposes.

View from the judge's chair, through the dock, to the the ladies' gallery at the back, where the spectators and journalists sat.
