Jean?; WWI postcard art. An Impressionistic view of the Jetty in the town of Mahdia. circa 1917-1918? Miniature painting, ink & watercolours?; painted on a standard, printed Comité post-card blank with the variant wording 'The Comité des Étudiants Américains de l'École des Beaux-Arts Paris guarantee the authenticity of this picture'. Signed (Godard? Jean?) on front. Full front caption reads as follows: 'Mahdia. La Jétée Godard? Jean?' Written in a combination of block letters and cursive. Back with only the handwritten number '36663' added, at lower centre right, to the standard printed design & text. More information about the artist would be appreciated.

Found online; Taken from an old & now long-defunct sales listing.

Created during WWI, therefore obviously pre-1923; uploaded here to avoid Commons' "dual jurisdiction" PD rule.
