Description
English: Early photo of Nantasket station. Two separate stations were known as Nantasket - one on the South Shore mainline later called North Cohasset, and one on the Nantasket Beach Railroad. The sign reading "THIS TRAIN CONNECTS WITH BOAT AT PEMBERTON" indicates that it is the latter. The Old Colony Railroad took over the Nantasket Beach Railroad in 1888, and was itself taken over by the New Haven Railroad in 1893.
