DescriptionNational Wildflower Centre, Court Hey Park - geograph.org.uk - 40325.jpg
English: National Wildflower Centre, Court Hey Park. This traditional parkland is one of Knowsley's best-kept secrets. Its 14 hectares provide one of the best collections of mature trees seen anywhere in the Borough with landscaped areas of wildflower planting. The National Wildflower Centre, founded by Landlife opened at Court Hey Park in 2000. The centre, one of only two of its kind in the world, helps to promote the creation and conservation of wildflower landscapes. Landlife is based in the former walled garden and produces wildflower seeds and plants to help bring wildflower landscapes back into the British countryside. The stunning 150-metre long visitor centre, features a café and shop, outdoor exhibitions, conference centre and superb rooftop promenade
