Summary

Description Position of niobium in the periodic table with other data about the element The scheme shows a the periodic table, and from left to right a cube representing the body-centered cubic structure of the metal followed by a simplified electron shell diagramm and a Niobium with 5 dots representig Valence electrons, the last two numbers followed by a letter are the number of Protons (41P) and the number of the neutrons (52N) in the only stable Niobium isotope. All info can be verified in the book Holleman, Arnold F.; Wiberg, Egon; Wiberg, Nils; (1985) "Niob" in (in German) Lehrbuch der Anorganischen Chemie (91–100 ed.), Walter de Gruyter, pp. 1,075–1,079 ISBN: 3110075113. and at the page 147 for the body-centered cubic structure.
