English: Livres des Merveilles du Monde (aka Secretz de la Nature), manuscript of Morgan Library M.461, fol. 26v: "Ethiopia" (Upper left) 4 reptiles incl. dragon, wivern beside flames, horned eagle, five people before crowned dog: (Lower left) 2 troglodytes hold lizards. Bearded man, with club on right shoulder, beside two acephalus, nude, one reaching to touch head of man beside crowned king. (Center) 2 naked men sitting beside 2 bearded men. (Right) naked man, gestures toward nude female with animal tail, accompanied by hybrid figure with hooves. Another nude hybrid man, with large ears [panotti].
