Summary
DescriptionPuerto Rico National Guard (37429272446).jpg |
English: Citizen-Soldiers of the Puerto Rico National Guard, 1013th En. Co. (Sappers), 130th Battalion, 101st Troop Command, performed clearing and reconstruction work on a 10-mile stretch of the water channel system near the neighborhood of Llanadas, Isabela, Oct. 2. The Soldiers worked alongside a group of firefighters clearing and repairing the structure, built in 1927, which suffered serious damage by Hurricane Maria. After the works get completed more than 100 thousand people in the municipalities of Aguadilla, Aguada, Isabela, Moca, Rincón, San Sebastián and Quebradillas will start receiving water service in their homes again thus helping relieve the water pressure at the lake Guajataca Dam.
