Have you visited Toronto's oldest house? Moved to the CNE on August 22, 1879, from its original location just south of Queen Street where it meets the Don River, Scadding cabin was built in 1794. Its original owner, John Scadding, served as an executive assistant to John Graves Simcoe (1st Lieutenant-Governor of Upper Canada). It's open to the public during the CNE. This sketch is from 1888.
