Staci Simonich an OSU environmental chemist and a professor in the department of environmental and molecular toxicology demonstrates a personal air sampler used in air quality research. The device includes the red sampler head attached near the breathing zone and a pump. The air sampler can assess what a person breathes in—dust, gases, and vapors.
