English: My thoughts and prayers go out to the brave Water Protectors as history repeats itself. The Standing Rock Sioux, Indigenous peoples of our country are being forced off their lands at 2pm 2/22/2017 as they bravely stand up for treaty rights which for centuries have been ignored. Impossible to ignore the contradiction of the present extreme anti-immigration/immigrant efforts at the same time our leadership supports this eviction of indigenous people from their own land ignoring their treaty rights. #noDAPL |
