Summary

Description

By raising a flock of chickens through a self-help group, these women have found a better way to earn an income and provide food for their families. Formed by Ugunja Community Resource Centre, these groups help once-struggling farmers turn a profit from their land. The AusAID-supported project is part of the TEAR Strengthening the Work of Smaller Civil Society Partners program in Western Kenya.
