Summary

Description Part of the original case of The Awakening of Australian Art (1907) by Dora Ohlfsen (1869–1948), the Australian sculptor, on display at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney, in 1912. This image shows the front of the medal.
Date
Source Art Gallery of New South Wales
Author The author is assumed to be Dora Ohlfsen herself. The photograph was taken in the gallery in 1912, and a relative of hers gave the photograph to the gallery in 1995. So far as can be determined, the photograph remained unpublished until the gallery added it to its website a few years ago. The case itself and the medals are lost.
