The fossil of a Teleoceras (an extinct hippo-like rhinoceros), locked forever in stone at Ashfall State Historic Park, Creighton, Nebraska.
NOTE: This photo is actually not a horse, but one of the Teleoceras rhinos. It is preserved in soft volcanic ash. Ashfall Fossil Beds is actually between (and north of) Royal and Orchard, Nebraska, not Creighton.
