Summary

Description
English: United Mine Workers of America Building is located at 900 15th Street NW in Washington, D.C. It originally housed the University Club of Washington, D.C., when it was built in 1912 and designed by architect George Oakley Totten Jr. It was purchased by the United Mine Workers in 1936 and renovations were designed by architects Porter & Lockie. The building and a parking lot were purchased in 1999 and converted into a mixed-use complex. A new adjoining apartment building and renovations of the old one were carried out by Martinez + Johnson Architecture. The complex is now known as the Camden Grand Parc. The building is a National Historic Landmark and listed on the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites. The building is also a contributing property to the Fifteenth Street Financial Historic District.
