The Empire State Building is a 102-story landmark Art Deco skyscraper in New York City at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. Its name is derived from the nickname for the state of New York. The United Nations Headquarters is a distinctive complex in New York City that has served as the official headquarters of the United Nations since its completion in 1950. The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco skyscraper in New York City, located on the east side of Manhattan in the Turtle Bay area at the intersection of 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue.Nederlands: De Empire State Building, het Hoofdkwartier van de Verenigde Naties en de Chrysler Building zoals gezien vanop de East River.
Het Empire State Building is de hoogste wolkenkrabber in New York, en staat aan de kruising van 5th Avenue met West 34th St. De naam Empire State Building komt van de bijnaam van de staat New York, The Empire State. Het Hoofdkwartier van de Verenigde Naties in New York bevindt zich op het oostelijke deel van Manhattan aan de East River. De Chrysler Building is een van de mooiste en tevens beroemdste voorbeelden van de Art deco-stijl. Hij staat in Lower Midtown op de kruising van 42nd Street met Lexington Avenue. |
