Description
English: This is a picture of War Memorial Hall, University of Guelph[1] when it was part of the Royal Canadian Air Force No. 4 Wireless School, Guelph, Ontario, Canada compound. War Memorial Hall was officially opened in 1930. The auditorium seats 600 people. The inscription "Our Theatre" refers to the use of the building by the RCAF. It was the air station's entertainment centre. The auditorium was a theatre. The basement was used for dances, the Young Womens' Christian Association (YWCA) operated a Hostess station here, and the Canadian Legion organized sports and other recreational activities here.
