The phrase "missing square" is misleading. Actually neither of the two large wedge shapes is a triangle. The trick is that the two small triangles aren't congruent. One has a slope of 0.40, the other a slope of 0.3875, so if you "ride" the diagonal line you get a bump on one wedge and a hop on the other. --Uncle Ed (talk) 02:26, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
