The 1987 WE4 Regal was an option that was similar to the WE2 option package commonly know as the Grand National. The WE4 included The W02 blacked out trim. It also included the gray bucket seat interior, Black bumpers and rub strip on the bumpers, and the header panel without the hood ornament. It also deleted the Regal badge on the rear quarter panels and the "diver down" square around the deck lid key hole and the 'diver down' emblem on the sail panel behind the quarter windows. It did include the LC2 turbocharged 3.8 liter engine and the MX0 2004r automatic overdrive transmission, as well as the G87 8.5 inch 10 bolt rear end and the GU6 3.42 gears. It also included the Y56 T package and all that it included.
