Question

[edit]

Why does this graph not show emissions from volcanic eruptions and volcanic venting?

Maybe referring to human emmited gases? 68.146.8.255 15:48, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, volcanoes aren't man-made. Of course over the long term, humans emit ~150 times as much CO2 as volcanoes, so they really aren't a big deal. Dragons flight 04:24, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Depends on which "long term" you're referring to. Our entire atmosphere was vented by volcanoes over the really long term. Also note though that volcanic ash of even moderate eruptions can generate noticeable worldwide cooling for multiple years, as a reflector of solar radiation in the atmosphere. 63.231.20.88 (talk) 23:32, 19 December 2007 (UTC) Ventifact[reply]

Sources of Data

[edit]

You must provide the sources of your data if you want your graph to be credible. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.155.162.73 (talkcontribs).

The source is linked in the first sentence. Dragons flight 20:08, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SVG

[edit]

This image should be converted to SVG format. "Won't" is not a reason to remove the SVG template tag. Under the GWArt template, it is said that "Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify this image". The SVG tag does not require the author of the work to upload an SVG version - it just states that an SVG version should be uploaded. - 81.159.180.131 16:35, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any information explaining how the data for this pie chart was gathered?

[edit]

I'd be extrememly interested to find out, as a layman I don't understand how these percentages are figured. How does one go about cauclulating green house gas emissions by sector? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.50.239.190 (talk) 21:17, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
