Why this image was uploaded

This was uploaded as a trial image to determine whether the Wikipedia community, and in particular WP:CRIC, felt this image and others like it of South African cricketers from the 1931-32 South African Test tour to Australia and New Zealand, are of sufficient quality to be incorporated into the articles on the individual cricketers. Herbie Taylor was picked for this trial as other images of Taylor (mostly copyright) are available to check whether this is a reasonable likeness. Johnlp (talk) 13:11, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
