IELTS scores do not map neatly to the CEFR levels. Some IELTS scores are on the borderline between two CEFR levels (e.g. 8.0), some are at the very top of a CEFR level, but just short of the borderline (e.g. 6.5), some are in the middle of a CEFR level (e.g. 6.0), some are in the lower third of a CEFR level (4.5). A description in words or in a table does not have the same accuracy of information.}}
