Aren't the birds on the picture Brown Pelicans, Pelecanus occidentalis, instead of Pink-backed Pelicans, Pelecanus rufescens? Pink-backed Pelicans don't even occur in California, as it's an African species, while the Brown Pelican is extremely common there.The Claw (talk) 17:59, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
