As the original uploader I have no problem with anyone reducing the image size. However I am not going to do it myself on the basis that I really don't think Pepe Martinez and all concerned with him (business or personal) would object or raise a legal issue. The image is rare and preservation at the highest quality should be the main concern.
However since Wikipedia may be legally liable, if you feel as though you want to download, resize and upload under your own account then go ahead. If no one does then admin may delete it.
