Not Mormon Missionaries

[edit]

These young men are not Mormon missionaries. This is normal Sunday dress for LDS males above the age of 12, and this pic could have been taken in a variety of contexts. These young men appear to be about 16 years of age. Missionaries are not called until they are 19 years of age, and many young men are older than that when they serve. One young man is wearing a plaid shirt -- which is a dress code violation for missionaries. Their haircuts would not pass inspection. They do not have the mandatory Mission name tags, identifying them as LDS Church representatives. This image should be renamed, perhaps as 'Young Men - LDS Church', if not considered for deletion.
