Done. I've also ported {{Wikimedia trademark}} from Commons to accurately reflect the image's restricted status. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 04:47, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, as you stated that in Wikipedia's logo rights, logos that are an official design of The Wikimedia Foundation are copyrighted with all rights reserved, but in the licence description {{Non-free Wikimedia logo}} has been removed by User:Mr. Stradivarius, an admin who responded to another person's edit request. The edit where somebody changed the licence description to GFDL on Commons had been reverted to the "copyrighted by Wikimedia" notice. Could you or any administrator please put this copyright notice back? DSCrowned(Talk) 04:54, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Done When I changed this to GFDL I think I was just following the decision made on Commons. I've removed {{Wikimedia trademark}} as well, as that seems redundant to {{Non-free Wikimedia logo}}. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 08:53, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Please update the license. See c:File:Wikipedia-logo-v2.svg. Thanks, Yann (talk) 18:46, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Yann: What should the licence be updated to? — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 09:45, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I mean to link to the file on Commons. Actually, this could be deleted. We have the same file with the same name on Commons. Regards, Yann (talk) 11:20, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Done. The image was uploaded locally and protected because it is highly used. If this was just to prevent image vandalism then we could delete it here and apply create protection, but I think keeping the image local has a performance advantage as well. I'd have to check for the exact details of how this affects performance, though. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 17:36, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
