Frederick Thomas Coyle, born at Taunton, Somerset in 1868 and died at Halifax, West Yorkshire, on 12 September 1925, played first-class cricket for Somerset in two matches, one in each of the 1903 and 1905 seasons.[1]

Coyle was a lower-order right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler, though he failed to take a wicket in either of his two Somerset matches. He had earlier played non-first-class matches for Northumberland in 1898.[2]
